ASUS ZenBook 3: Review

ASUS laptop

The ASUS ZenBook 3 has been compared to Apples MacBook but it is as good? It has many benefits but also drawbacks as it is a newly released computer. This video gives a detailed review of the ZenBook and is a great watch if you were thinking of getting one. The ZenBook 3 is a step up from the other ZenBooks as every component and detail have been completely re-engineered and re-designed to make this ZenBook better than all of the others.

It is a much lighter model but also a lot stronger. It has an 11.9mm profile which means that it is ultra-thin. It has a four-speaker audio system that is in partnership with Hardman Kardon. The ZenBook 3 has the standard all-metal unibody that all ZenBooks have so you will be able to easily recognise that it is a Zen model.

The ZenBook 3 is the first laptop by Asus that the display is covered with full edge-to-edge Corning Gorilla Glass. It has a 178° viewing angles, superb colour and a crisp detail. To prevent the laptop itself getting too hot the engineers for the ZenBook 3 created a brand-new cooling system. They used components such as liquid-crystal-polymer fan impeller and a copper-alloy heat pipe. The combination of the two allows the hot air to exit the laptop quickly without the laptop heating up too much.

Not only can it stay on for up to 9 hours without charging it also charges up to 60% in just 49 minutes and has 3x more battery life than any of the other ZenBooks. The ZenBook 3 is fully equipped to meet the needs of a wireless network. It has the latest power-efficient Bluetooth and dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi. There is also a built-in fingerprint sensor in the touchpad which makes logging on as easy as it can be.

The Asus ZenBook 3 is an incredible piece of technology as it features some of the most innovative specifications to this date. We would happily purchase one to test it out as the laptop in itself is rather spectacular.
