Parking your car just got easier with this automated system

Driving just got a lot easier with Bosch’s new automated system that allows your car to park itself. You don’t even need to be in the car itself to park it as you can control it through your phone. This is a great invention for those who dislike parking as it reduces the amount of pressure an individual may feel when parking.

All you have to do is use Bosch’s Automatic Park Assist and it’s remote control function. You will be able to easily park in wide spaces as well as tight parking spots. You just have to get out of the car close to the parking spot open the app on your smartphone and continue to press a button to begin the parking maneuver. Your car will then either drive itself into the parking spot or out of it without needing to be behind the wheel. If you needed to stop the maneuver for any reason you only need to take your finger off the button. This idea by Bosch has been around since 2008 and has only been available since 2015.

The whole thing works by using ultrasound sensors which are integrated into the side of the vehicles. These sensors scan the area surrounding the vehicle for a suitable place to park. The electronical system then figures out the best way steer the car into and out of the parking space.

We can’t wait to see if people will like using the system or not.It can take quite a lot of getting used to as the driver isn’t in control of the car. This could be a good way for cars to be parked in cities where parking spaces can often be a lot smaller and harder to maneuver in and out of.
