1. GUARANTEES AND WARRANTIES
1.1 If a repair is to be carried out under a guarantee or warranty we may ask you to provide evidence of such warranty or guarantee.
1.2 You shall remain liable for our charges in relation to any repair that falls outside the terms of any guarantee or warranty.
1.3 Any repairs carried out by Phone Heroes shall be guaranteed for a period of one year from the date your mobile phone is returned to you. The warranty includes only those parts repaired by us and does not cover any accidental damage to the repaired parts. If your mobile device develops any additional faults unrelated to the original repair, the repair warranty contained in this paragraph shall not apply.
1.4 If the repair is not covered by a guarantee or warranty or the repair is outside the scope you shall be charged for the repair in accordance with the estimate provided.
1.5 Accidental damage will be determined on Phone Heroes inspection of
the device, signs of accidental damage to the parts fitted by Phone
Heroes such as cracks, dents, marks from impact will void your
1.5 Liquid Damage
Is not covered by our one year warranty but has a 14-day warranty where you will be refunded for the cost of repairs carried out if the initial repairs cannot be rectified. Note: Initial diagnostic charge is a non-refundable charge.
If any components have been used to repair the logic board i.e chip-sets, capacitors, resistors, these are also non-refundable components.
1.6 Logic board repairs
Are not covered by our one year warranty but have a 14-day warranty in which you are eligible for a refund of the cost of the repairs carried out if the initial repairs cannot be rectified, however, you will not be refunded for the cost of the components used to repair the logic board I.e chip sets, capacitors, resistors.
Note: Initial diagnostic charge is a non refundable charge.
2.1 Phone Heroes liability to you in relation to any issue arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be limited at our option to: (a) payment of the cost of having the repair done again; (b) repaying any amount you paid in respect of the repairs (c) replacing your mobile device with a mobile device of the same or similar quality, in this order respectively.
2.2 Any data or information you may have stored on your mobile device shall remain your sole responsibility and we shall not be responsible for any loss or corruption of such data and it shall be your responsibility to keep a record of any such data.
2.3 Nothing in this clause shall apply to limit or exclude our liability for: (a) breach of any terms implied by statute; (b) any claim arising under the Consumer Protection Act 1987.
2.4 We shall not be liable to you for any indirect, special or consequential loss arising out of or in connection with this Agreement, including any loss of business, profits, goodwill or other indirect or consequential loss or damage howsoever arising.
2.5 We shall not be liable for any damages arising under this Agreement unless you give us written notice of your claim within three (3) months of becoming aware of the circumstances giving rise to the claim or, if earlier, three (3) months from the time you ought reasonably to have become aware of such circumstances.
2.6 We shall not be liable to you for any delay or failure in performance of our obligations under this Agreement arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
2.7 We are not liable for the loss or damage of devices during shipment or courier and any loss or damage will remain the responsibility of the company contracted for shipment or courier.
Any personal information you provide may be used to notify you when your mobile device has been repaired and so we can provide you with an efficient after-sales service. With your consent we may also use it to send you text or email messages from time to time informing you of any new services we provide. By signing the questionnaire you consent to us using your personal information for these limited purposes and we undertake not to use it for any other purpose or provide any such information to third parties. If you do not wish to receive text or email messages at any time you should write to us.
Terms and Conditions Summary
4.1 We are not liable for any loss of data and always recommend that you back-up your device.
4.2 One Year warranty covers manufacturing faults and does not cover accidental damage.
4.3 Liquid damage repairs and logic board repairs are covered under a 14-day warranty

4.5 Laptop liquid damage diagnostic fee £35
4.6 Repair times given are estimates and we cannot be held liable for delays with any repairs, however, we will try our up-most to meet time frames given.
