For the MacBook Retina’s we only offer full unit replacements. This is because if we just replace the LCD the result will be of a lower quality than usual due to the design of the MacBook. Although the cost of a full unit replacement is a lot higher the end result is of a higher quality than if we were just to replace the LCD. Macbook screen repairs take around an hour to replace. If we don’t have parts in stock for your model, we may need to order them in. However, the part would only take a few days to arrive in store.
